Britt Carmon focuses on reducing the environmental impact of the transportation sector by encouraging the government to adopt policies that advance clean fuels and the development of energy-efficient vehicles. Prior to joining NRDC, she worked for the White House, aiding strategies to push the Biden-Harris administration's priorities through Congress, and in the U.S. Senate on energy and environmental issues. She holds a bachelor's degree in marine and environmental science from Hampton University and a master's degree in environmental management from the Yale School of the Environment. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
