Sasha Stashwick focuses on developing state and federal policies aimed at cutting greenhouse gas pollution from heavy industry and putting key industrial sectors like cement and concrete on a trajectory to deep decarbonization consistent with U.S. climate targets. Her prior work focused on limiting reliance on forest biomass in the power sector. Before joining NRDC, Stashwick worked on Wall Street as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and a dual MPA with a concentration in public and economic policy from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po in Paris. She is based in New York City.
